Soberano Brandy Solera 1.0L

Soberano is a Spanish brandy from Jerez, mild in character and slightly sweet in style. It manages without sharp edges and can be drunk neat just as well as in a long drink.

It is produced by González Byass in Jerez de la Frontera, a region with a long brandy and sherry tradition. It is aged in the Solera system: the brandy moves gradually through several rows of barrels (criaderas) and is blended in the process. This keeps the style consistent and gives the brandy its roundness.

In the glass, you will find a delicate hint of oak and nuts, carried by soft sweetness. Nothing about it is pushy; sweetness, wood, and nut are in balance. The texture is mild and round, the finish gentle.

Recommendation: neat at room temperature in a snifter, on ice, or as a digestif after a meal. The 1-liter bottle also goes well with long drinks with cola or ginger ale and for sociable evenings.
