Santadi Villa Solais Vermentino

A Sardinian white wine for an uncomplicated evening – fresh, fruity and with the salty minerality that characterizes the Sulcis coast.

Cantina di Santadi is one of Sardinia's most renowned cooperatives, founded in 1960 in the southwest of the island. The grapes for Villa Solais come from five municipalities in the lower Sulcis region, where the vines grow on diverse soils – from light sand to heavy clay. This diversity is reflected in the wine's character: a blend of 70% Vermentino and 30% Nuragus , two classic Sardinian white grape varieties.

In the glass, a pale straw yellow with green-gold reflections. The nose offers white peach, citrus zest, and a hint of melon. On the palate, juicy and light-bodied, with lively acidity and a mineral-salty finish – typical of coastal Vermentino.

Serving temperature 8–10 °C . Best enjoyed young. Pairs well with grilled sea bass, linguine alle vongole, light antipasti, or simply as an aperitif on the terrace.

Cantina di Santadi

Cantina di Santadi – Sardinia as it should taste: wild, sun-drenched, and full of character. Since 1960, this winery has been producing wine in the southwest of the island, in the Sulcis region. Their pride and joy: Carignano. In this stark landscape between the sea and the white dunes, the grape variety reaches its full potential. The wines are surprising – powerful, elegant, with dark berries, Mediterranean herbs, and a salty freshness. Whether the legendary Terre Brune or the crisp Vermentino: the passion of generations of Sardinian winemakers is in every bottle.
