Trittenheimer Riesling

Trittenheimer Riesling
Trittenheimer Riesling is a classic Moselle wine from one of the most beautiful vineyards in the Middle Moselle – the legendary Trittenheimer Apotheke . In the narrow Moselle bend near Trittenheim, the vines grow on steep blue and grey slate soils facing southwest, where the soils store the sun's warmth during the day and gently release it back to the vines at night.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose unfolds delicate aromas of peach, pineapple, citrus blossom, and green apple , accompanied by a subtle mineral spiciness and a hint of herbal freshness. On the palate, it is light-footed, juicy, and invigorating, with racy acidity, elegant smoothness, and a long, mineral-fruity finish – typical of the delicate yet powerful elegance of the Middle Moselle region.
With an alcohol content of often only 11–12.5% ABV and an ideal serving temperature of 8–10 °C, it pairs well with fish, seafood, light poultry, asparagus, and Asian cuisine. A classic Mosel Riesling with depth, freshness, and an unmistakable expression of its terroir.
