Riesling Auslese - Trittenheimer Apotheke

A selection from the Trittenheimer Apotheke vineyard — one of the most renowned steep slopes of the Middle Moselle, named for its healing effect on viticulture. Josef Rosch, a classic family winery from Trittenheim, has cultivated these slate slopes for generations, focusing on precise, site-specific Riesling.

On the nose, this selection is cool and complex: caramel candy, ripe apricot, and stone fruit mingle with light blossoms, a hint of herbs, and a delicate biscuit note. On the palate, it is juicy and compact—a narrow body keeps the fruit sweetness in balance without feeling heavy. The finish is deep, with lingering fruit and a subtle herbal note that skillfully frames the sweetness.
