Riesling Spätlese Trittenheimer Apotheke

A late harvest wine from the Middle Moselle that effortlessly maintains the balance between ripe fruit and invigorating acidity. The Trittenheimer Apotheke vineyard comes from one of the village's most renowned steep slopes – named for its long history of medicinal plants and characterized by blue slate soil.

Josef Rosch has cultivated his Moselle vineyards for generations, focusing on precision rather than volume. The Spätlese from the Apotheke vineyard embodies the character of this origin: in the glass, a clear bouquet of ripe peach and apricot unfolds, underpinned by citrus zest and a subtle slate note. On the palate, residual sweetness and lively acidity combine in an elegant interplay – neither heavy nor sharp, but with the characteristically graceful, dancing finish typical of Moselle Spätlese wines.

  • Aromas: Peach, apricot, citrus peel, slate
  • Mouthfeel: medium body, subtle residual sweetness, fresh acidity
  • Serving temperature: 8–10 °C
  • Food pairings: Asian curries, tarte flambée with crème fraîche, goat cheese or light desserts with stone fruits
