Reserva Rioja DOCa 0.75L
The flagship of the traditional bodega from Rioja Alta – a Reserva that shows what Spanish classic style means today.
Marqués de Murrieta was founded in 1852 and is one of the oldest wineries in Spain. Owned by the Counts of Creixell since 1983, the estate is now run by Vicente Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga, the second generation of the family to manage it, with oenologist María Vargas at his side. The estate is located near Logroño in the Rioja Alta region.
In the glass, the Reserva displays aromas of raspberry, blueberry, and cherry, underpinned by thyme, rosemary, and a hint of sandalwood. The body is juicy and fruity, the tannins fine-grained, and the finish fresh and clean. Not a heavy, oak-dominated Rioja, but a precise, refined wine with red fruit at its heart.
Recommendation: Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Goes well with lamb chops, aged Manchego cheese or a classic Cocido madrileño.
Marqués de Murrieta embodies the classic Rioja magic with elegance and timeless class. From the heart of Spain come wines that exude tradition and maturity – like a walk through sun-drenched vineyards that tell stories.
In the glass, they delight with complex fruit , delicate vanilla notes, and a velvety texture. Typical Rioja: ripe, balanced, and full of depth that unfolds slowly. Here you'll find wines that make every moment special.
Perfect for connoisseurs who appreciate Spanish classics with character and warmth. A name synonymous with quality and enjoyment.
