Rabaja Barbaresco

Rabaja is one of the most prestigious single vineyards in the Barbaresco region – and Faletto produces a wine from it that shows power and finesse in a rare balance.

The Faletto winery lies in the heart of Piedmont, nestled in the hills surrounding Barbaresco. The Rabaja vineyard is considered one of the appellation's finest crus: deep soils of Torino limestone marl, a good altitude, and a long growing season. Nebbiolo, the only grape variety in Barbaresco, requires precisely these conditions to reach its full potential.

In the glass, it displays a ruby-red, slightly garnet hue. The nose offers aromas of dried rose, cherry jam, and a distinct hint of tar and licorice – typical Nebbiolo characteristics. On the palate, firm yet ripe tannins, lively acidity, and a long finish with notes of tobacco and cedar. A wine with years of aging potential.
