Blanc de Noir Pinot Noir QW Ahr 0.75L

A Blanc de Noir that shows what Pinot Noir can do beyond red wine: pale straw yellow with a delicate copper shimmer, lively fruit, dry finish.

The Nelles winery is one of the most traditional wineries in the Ahr region—one of Germany's northernmost red wine regions, characterized by slate soils and the mild microclimate of the narrow Ahr valley. Pinot Noir is the dominant grape variety here, and Nelles understands how to bring out its complexity even in this white wine interpretation.

In the glass, the wine displays aromas of white currant, peach, and a hint of citrus peel. The palate is fresh, with a fine acidity and a clean, slightly mineral finish—typical of the slate soils of the Ahr region. No oak, no heaviness: a wine that combines lightness with substance.

Best served at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with crayfish, steamed cod with herb butter, or a summery goat cheese salad. Also a good choice as an aperitif.
