Amani Friulano Collio DOC

Amani Friulano Collio DOC
Friulano is the leading grape variety of Friuli – and in Collio it shows why. Marco Felluga's Amani Friulano Collio DOC perfectly captures the typical character of this indigenous variety: floral, full-bodied, with a distinctive bitter almond finish.
Marco Felluga is one of the leading wineries of the Collio, a hilly region in northeastern Friuli bordering Slovenia. The flysch soils, composed of weathered limestone and sandstone, give the white wines here their characteristic texture and mineral spiciness.
In the glass, the Amani opens with aromas of almond blossom, chamomile, and hawthorn – subtly floral, never perfumed. On the palate, it is round and velvety with a well-integrated freshness that supports the body without overpowering it. The finish brings the characteristic bitter almond note that distinguishes Friulano from Pinot Grigio.
