Maltese Order Sparkling Wine Brut

An Austrian estate sparkling wine inspired by the Champagne style: Malteser Ritterorden Sekt Brut from the Malteser Ritterorden estate winery combines Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir in a classically vinified cuvée. Malolactic fermentation rounds out the acidity and gives the sparkling wine a creamy, soft texture – recognizable by its delicate pale yellow color and fine, persistent perlage.

On the palate, it is absolutely dry, with delicate acidity and a balanced structure. The Grüner Veltliner contributes a spicy note, Chardonnay provides body, and Pinot Noir adds depth to the finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, and also pairs well with fish dishes, risotto, or light poultry. Serving temperature: 7–9 °C.
