Magno Megonio Val di Neto Rosso

Magno Megonio presents itself in a rich, deep purple with garnet highlights. The nose offers overwhelming aromas of tobacco, black berries, and vanilla, accompanied by delicate red fruits and spices. On the palate, Magno Megonio Val di Neto is heavy and velvety, with a wealth of exquisite flavors enveloped in a warm embrace of berries, tobacco, wood, and leaves. The tannins are combined with a playful fruit sweetness and are therefore barely perceptible. The wine is then aged for six months in barriques in the cellars of Azienda Rosaneti in Agro di Rocca di Neto/Casabona.

Reviews

A good

One of the best.

Translated from German

Full wine, barely perceptible tannins

Great red wine that is very dense and powerful - but has hardly any tannins. Very pleasant in the mouth!

Librandi

Librandi – the soul of Calabria for over seven decades. Founded in 1950 by brothers Antonio and Nicodemo Librandi in Cirò Marina, the winery is now run by the fourth generation. 360 hectares between the Ionian Sea and the Sila Mountains, 232 of which are vineyards. Calcareous clay soils and a Mediterranean microclimate provide ideal conditions for indigenous grape varieties such as Gaglioppo and Greco Bianco. 2.5 million bottles are produced annually and exported to 35 countries. A pioneer of Calabrian quality wine production and a multiple award winner (Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri). The symbol: the agave – representing sun, warmth, and Mediterranean light.
