Lindeiros
An Albariño from the heart of Galicia — and a surprise from La Rioja Alta, known for its Rioja red wines. With the Lindeiros , the traditional winery proves that it is also at home in northern Spain.
La Rioja Alta was founded in 1890 and is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja. However, the Lindeiros comes from the Rías Baixas , Galicia's most famous white wine region, located directly on the Atlantic coast. The cool sea breezes and the granitic soils shape the style of this Albariño vineyard: vibrant acidity, pronounced minerality, and a saline depth.
In the glass, the 2021 vintage displays aromas of fresh apple and melon, underpinned by white blossoms and a distinctly salty, almost iodine-like note—the typical coastal profile of the Rías Baixas. On the palate, it offers firm acidity, medium body, and a long, fresh finish.
