La Rioja Alta 904 0.75L

One of La Rioja Alta's two flagship Gran Reserva wines, first released in 1904. This wine features a portion of the ancient Rioja grape Graciano, which contributes freshness and additional aromatic complexity. It matured for approximately four years in used oak barrels produced on the estate. The bouquet is nuanced and intense, ranging from dark berries, mint, and almonds to freshly roasted coffee beans, vanilla, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is structured with fine-grained, soft tannins, good body, and a very long, fresh, and elegant finish.

La Rioja Alta

La Rioja Alta, SA – behind this name lies one of the most venerable names in Spanish winemaking. For over 130 years, people have worked here with a clear philosophy: patience is not a luxury, but the foundation for great wine. The winery is located in the heart of the Rioja Alta and has never been driven by trends. Instead, they focus on long barrel aging, hand-picked grapes, and a deep understanding of their vineyards. The result? Wines you won't forget – with red fruits, delicate spices, and a velvety warmth that lingers on the palate. Sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a lived practice: Viña Alberdi was recently awarded Sustainable Wine Product of the Year – proof that tradition and responsibility go hand in hand. Four wineries, four regions – from Rioja to the Rías Baixas. But no matter where you look: the same care, the same passion.
