La Grange Terroir Merlot IGP Pays d'OC

La Grange Terroir Merlot IGP Pays d'OC
A varietal-typical Merlot from the Languedoc that shows what appropriate soil selection can achieve: round structure, clear fruit, not a gram of overload.
La Grange manages its winery in the Hérault according to the principle of terroir parceling — each grape variety gets the soil that suits it. For the Merlot, this means cooler clay soils that preserve freshness and underscore the juiciness typical of the variety.
In the glass, the wine shines in clear cherry red. On the nose, ripe sweet cherry and a subtle bell pepper note appear — both classic Merlot signatures from the Languedoc. On the palate, soft, well-integrated tannins, medium body, juicy finish with a touch of plum. No intrusive wood, no over-extraction — the wine remains committed to drinkability.
