Krug Champagne Grande Cuvée

Krug Champagne Grande Cuvée
The Grande Cuvée is the heart of the House of Krug — a blend of up to 120 wines from ten or more different vintages, recomposed every year. Not a vintage champagne, but a work of continuity: Krug cellar masters incorporate reserve wines for over a decade to ensure a consistent house style.
In the glass, a bright gold color with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers dried citrus peel, quince, and marzipan, along with brioche and a hint of gingerbread. On the palate, a creamy texture, ripe apricot, almond paste, and a spicy finish. A fine yeasty depth is achieved through long aging on the lees.
Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with lobster, scallops with saffron foam or aged Comté cheese — or enjoy it on its own as a standalone experience.

Krug stands for the unyielding – the courage to make Champagne the way it feels right, not the way it is currently trending. Since 1843, the house in Reims has followed a single conviction: every grape, every year, every site deserves to be treated as the best it can ever be.
The heart is the assemblage of up to 120 wines and ten vintages – a mosaic of aromas that creates Krug's unmistakable depth and complexity. Rich bread dough, roasted hazelnuts, ripe fruit – a glass of Krug tells a whole story.
