Königschaffhausen-Kiechlinsbergen

In the heart of the sun-drenched Kaiserstuhl region, where the rolling hills of the Black Forest meet the lush vineyards, lies the Königschaffhausen-Kiechlinsbergen winegrowers' cooperative. Here, where the volcanic soil nourishes the vines and the warm Baden sun caresses them, the grapes flourish, producing wines that tell stories. For generations, around 150 winegrowing families have cultivated their vineyards with dedication and passion. Together, they cultivate 370 hectares of land, stretching across the Kaiserstuhl's finest sites. It is the Burgundy varieties that thrive here – above all, the velvety Pinot Noir and the elegant Pinot Gris. These grape varieties are the heart of the cooperative and reflect the soul of the region. In the cooperative's deep cellars, the wines mature into true treasures. The premium wines of the "Selection" and "Vintage Best" series are of exceptional quality, while the classic Kabinett and Spätlese wines, as well as the characterful volcanic rock wines, showcase the diversity and richness of the terroir. The cooperative has also made a name for itself in the production of sparkling wine and sweet wines, always open to new insights and innovations in viticulture.
