Cadette Pinotage Rose

A rosé with a South African character: fresh, fruity and yet surprisingly structured – typical for Pinotage from Stellenbosch.

Kanonkop is one of the most renowned Pinotage producers in South Africa. The Stellenbosch estate has cultivated the grape variety for decades with a seriousness more commonly associated with Bordeaux châteaux. The Kadette is the estate's more approachable line – but not a compromise, rather a distinct style.

In the glass, the wine shines a bright salmon pink. On the nose, it opens with raspberry and strawberry, along with a hint of passion fruit and pineapple, revealing the tropical side of the South African terroir. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with a clear, lively acidity that makes for a long and pleasantly dry finish.
