Hussonet Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva

A structured red wine from the heart of Chile that brings the strengths of the Maipo Valley into the bottle: dark fruit, spicy depth, and a long, dry finish.

Haras de Pirque is located in the Maipo Valley south of Santiago — one of the classic Cabernet regions of South America, characterized by Andean influence, large daily temperature fluctuations, and well-drained gravel soils. The winery is known for its carefully managed vineyards and also grows Carménère, the autochthonous grape variety of Chile, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Hussonet Gran Reserva shows deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, blackberry and black currant, underscored by notes of cedarwood, toffee, and dried herbs. On the palate, medium to full body, ripe, well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and a spicy-long finish with a hint of dark chocolate.

Serving suggestion: 16–18 °C. Pairs with grilled beef steak, lamb shank with rosemary, or a hearty hard cheese like Manchego.
