Grappa Tradizione Cinquanta Gradi Liter 1.0L

A grappa from Piedmont with 50% ABV: powerful in alcohol, but balanced in taste. The name “Cinquanta Gradi” refers to the strength; the liter bottle is suitable for rounds of guests and evenings when the bottle is brought to the table more often.

Bocchino distills this grappa from selected pomace of four Piedmontese grape varieties: Barbera, Freisa, Dolcetto, and Grignolino. The pomace of the red grapes from the region gives it a clear, traditional grappa profile.

In the glass, it shows a delicate, slightly aromatic bouquet; on the palate, a well-balanced taste that does not seem harsh despite the 50%. A few drops of water open up the aroma a little further.

Best enjoyed neat in a small tulip glass, at room temperature or slightly chilled, classically after a meal as a digestif. It also works well in a Caffè corretto.
