Grappa della Cantina Privata 21 Anni Double Magnum 3.0L

A grappa that understands time as a craft: 21 years of aging in barriques made of Allier, Limousin, and Tronçais oak — three types of wood that give the distillate from the House of Bocchino in Canelli, Piedmont, a depth rarely found in a glass.

Bocchino has been distilling in the heart of Piedmont for over a century. For the "Cantina Privata," only selected vintages enter the cellar — an internal selection that brings the character of the house to bottle format. The base: pomace from 65% Nebbiolo, the great red wine grape of Piedmont, and 35% Moscato d'Asti, which gives the distillate its aromatic sweetness.

The glass shows a deep amber, on the nose dried fig, orange peel, dark chocolate, and a hint of toasted almond. The palate is velvety, the oak present but integrated — long, spicy finish with a trace of tobacco and vanilla.

Neat, at 18–20 °C, after a long dinner. The double magnum bottle (3.0 l) also makes this grappa an extraordinary gift for lovers of aged distillates.

The Distillery

Bocchino

Bocchino has stood for Piedmontese grappa tradition for generations. The distillery from Canelli in the heart of Monferrato processes only fresh pomace from Piedmont – Moscato, Barbera, Nebbiolo – and distills it in small copper stills. The result: characterful grappas with a clear origin, aromatic depth, and a velvety finish. Pure after a meal, slightly tempered at about 14–16 °C.
