Grappa Riserva Carlo Bocchino 0.7L

The Grappa Riserva from Carlo Bocchino in Piedmont is an aged pomace brandy with amber depth and a character that goes far beyond the classic Grappa style. Bocchino is one of Italy's most traditional Grappa houses, rooted for generations in Canelli in the heart of Piedmont — a region as famous for its distillation culture as it is for Barbera and Moscato.

In the glass, the Riserva shows warm gold tones. On the nose, it opens with floral notes, fine spice accents, and a hint of dried fruits. On the palate, it feels round and dense, the texture distinctly velvety — a sign of aged maturation. The finish is long, warm, and pleasantly dry.

Best served neat at room temperature, in a bulbous Grappa glass that concentrates the aromas. Classic after a meal, to conclude a Piedmontese menu with tajarin or brasato al Barolo. If you like, serve it with a piece of dark chocolate or a ripe Grana Padano. In a gift set with two glasses, it is also suitable as a souvenir for Grappa connoisseurs.

The Distillery

Bocchino

Bocchino has stood for Piedmontese grappa tradition for generations. The distillery from Canelli in the heart of Monferrato processes only fresh pomace from Piedmont – Moscato, Barbera, Nebbiolo – and distills it in small copper stills. The result: characterful grappas with a clear origin, aromatic depth, and a velvety finish. Pure after a meal, slightly tempered at about 14–16 °C.
