Grappa from a single grape variety: The Grappa di Picolit from Nonino comes from Friuli and is bottled at 50% ABV. It is one of the spirits that show how much character is hidden in the pomace of a rare grape.

Nonino Distillatori first distilled single-varietal grappa from the separately obtained pomace of the Picolit grape in 1973, thereby coining the term Monovitigno®. It is distilled discontinuously in copper steam stills; the heads and tails are separated. It is bottled by hand in mouth-blown spherical bottles, each marked with a vintage and number.

Clear and crystalline in the glass. The grappa is powerful and full of tension, yet generous in the mouth. Which aromas are in the foreground varies depending on the vintage, so it is best to try it at your leisure. Recommendation: neat in a tulip glass, at slightly chilled room temperature, as the end of a long meal. The numbered bottle is also suitable as a gift for people who appreciate Italian distilling art.
