Grüner Veltliner Braitenpuechtorff Ingrid Groiss

The Grüner Veltliner Braitenpuechtorff from Ingrid Groiss shows what the Weinviertel region can achieve in a fresh vintage: clear structure, lively acidity and an unmistakably spicy profile.

Ingrid Groiss cultivates her vineyards in the northern Weinviertel region near the Czech border – a region with a continental climate, loess-rich soils, and cool nights that impart freshness and vibrancy to the wines. The single vineyard Braitenpuechtorff is known for its precise, site-specific Grüner Veltliner with its own distinctive character.

In the glass, the 2024 vintage displays a pale yellow-green hue. The nose offers aromas of white pepper, green apple, and a hint of citrus peel. On the palate, it is dry, with firm acidity and a delicate mineral spiciness on the finish – the classic Grüner Veltliner interplay between fruit and spice.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Drinking window: 2025–2028, ready to drink now.
Goes well with Wiener Schnitzel, asparagus with hollandaise sauce or fresh goat cheese.
