Groiss –
Weinviertel wines with a clear signature

Groiss Winery is one of the most reliable wineries in the Weinviertel , the expansive hilly landscape north of Vienna that is one of Austria's classic white wine regions. Here, where loess soils and a continental climate shape the vines, wines are produced with the typical character of the region: fresh, clear, and with a straightforwardness that is immediately apparent in the glass.

The focus is on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling – two grape varieties that have been rooted in Austrian viticulture for generations and thrive particularly well in the Weinviertel region. Ingrid Groiss concentrates on wines that don't deny their origins: peppery spice in the Veltliner, delicate fruit and vibrancy in the Riesling. A Pinot Noir completes the red wine selection. Prices between approximately €12 and €28 make the wines suitable for everyday enjoyment – without sacrificing character.
