The Goldmine 2024 shows what the Western Cape can do with white wine: ripe fruit with freshness, without one overpowering the other.

Boekenhoutskloof is one of South Africa's most renowned wineries. Founded in 1776 in Franschhoek, it is today one of the region's leading producers of quality wines. The Goldmine line represents approachable, carefully vinified wines from the Western Cape – aiming to combine everyday enjoyment with quality.

In the glass, the wine opens with aromas of quince, ripe pear, and nectarine, accompanied by a hint of citrus zest that brightens the fruit. The palate reveals a medium body, a soft acidity, and a smooth finish with a pleasant length. Not an angular wine – rather, one that pleases from the very first sip.
