Ten years of lees aging in a single vineyard: The Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore is the prestige cuvée of the Ferrari estate from Trentino. The grapes come exclusively from Maso Pianizza , an altitude of over 600 meters, where Chardonnay ripens slowly under alpine influence and develops a minerality that is rarely achieved by sparkling wines from the south.

On the nose, honey, white chocolate, roasted almonds, and a hint of vanilla—the result of extended autolysis. On the palate, velvety bubbles, a dense structure, and a long, dry finish with a citrusy vibrancy. Serve at 8–10 °C. Drinking window open for several years. Pairs well with lobster, scallops with saffron sauce, or as a standalone finale to a festive meal.
