Art de Vivre Languedoc Rouge
Gérard Bertrand 's Art de Vivre Languedoc Rouge is a tribute to the Mediterranean lifestyle of the South – a full-bodied, expressive red wine from the Languedoc AOP , made from a classic southern French blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre . The distinctive clay bottles are reminiscent of the first amphorae of ancient Mediterranean wine culture.
In the glass, it shines a deep ruby red with violet reflections . The nose opens with a seductive bouquet of ripe cherries, blackberries, black cherries, and Mediterranean herbs , accompanied by fine black pepper, leather, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy, and harmonious, with silky-smooth tannins, a pleasant structure, and a long, spicy finish.
Matured after maceration and 8 months in oak barrels , this red wine is served at 14.0% ABV and 18°C . Ideal with grilled lamb, game, Mediterranean cuisine, and strong cheeses. A red wine that authentically captures the joie de vivre of the Languedoc region.
