The grapes for the Feudo Arancio Rosso Riserva are harvested in the Ragusa and Agrigento regions of Sicily.
The color is intense dark red with a bit of garnet. Its bouquet is reminiscent of red fruits such as blackberries, raspberries, and cherries, plus some floral violet scents and hints of tobacco and vanilla. The taste is delicate yet full-bodied, with good structure and body. Elegant tannins round off the positive impression.

The Winery
Feudo Arancio – the "orange farm" – was founded in 2001 by the Trentino cooperative Mezzacorona and today cultivates 700 hectares of vineyards on Sicily's windy south coast, divided between two estates in Sambuca di Sicilia and Acate.
Behind the facade of a classic Baglio, the traditional Sicilian country estate, oenologist Matteo Covazzi works with state-of-the-art cellar technology.
Sustainability is not just a buzzword here: in 2002, Feudo Arancio was the first Italian winery with EMAS certification for the entire production chain and stores rainwater in seven artificial lakes with a capacity of 900,000 cubic meters. The result is honest, characterful Sicilian wines at a price that requires no long deliberation.
