Feudo Arancio Inzolia

The finished wine is particularly gentle and fruit-forward. Its color is light straw-yellow. In the nose, notes of pear, apricot, and peach. The crisp taste is dominated by fruity aromas, but also shows vanilla aromas alongside them.

An elegant wine of particularly beautiful fullness and suppleness.

The grapes for the typically Sicilian Feudo Arancio Inzolia Sicilia are harvested in the 2nd week of September and subsequently fermented at a controlled 18°C over a period of 12 days. After that, the wine matures for 4 months on the lees.

The Winery

Feudo Arancio

Feudo Arancio – the "orange farm" – was founded in 2001 by the Trentino cooperative Mezzacorona and today cultivates 700 hectares of vineyards on Sicily's windy south coast, divided between two estates in Sambuca di Sicilia and Acate.

Behind the facade of a classic Baglio, the traditional Sicilian country estate, oenologist Matteo Covazzi works with state-of-the-art cellar technology.

Sustainability is not just a buzzword here: in 2002, Feudo Arancio was the first Italian winery with EMAS certification for the entire production chain and stores rainwater in seven artificial lakes with a capacity of 900,000 cubic meters. The result is honest, characterful Sicilian wines at a price that requires no long deliberation.
