Ferrari Rosé Brut

A sparkling wine from Trentino that shows what the classic method can achieve in the Alps: fine perlage, clear fruit, long finish.

The Ferrari winery in Trento is considered a pioneer of Trentodoc – one of the few Italian sparkling wine appellations that exclusively permits the Méthode Classique. Founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari, and now owned by the Lunelli family, the winery works with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from high-altitude vineyards in the Dolomite foothills. Pinot Noir is used as the core grape for their rosé.

In the glass, it displays a brilliant antique rose color. The nose offers aromas of hawthorn, red currant, and wild strawberry – fresh, yet not fleeting. On the palate, it is dry and taut, with a silky perlage and a long finish that lingers with a hint of sweet almond and a floral, mossy note. Ratings from Wine Enthusiast (91), International Wine Cellar (92), and Winereview Online (92) reflect the reliability of this style.

Recommendation: Serve chilled at 7–9 °C. Pairs well with salmon carpaccio, prawns with citrus dressing, or a light beetroot risotto. Also a reliable choice as an aperitif before a festive meal.
