Ferrari Brut Trento DOC

Ferrari Brut Trento DOC
Since 1902, Ferrari Brut Trento DOC has been the heart of the eponymous house from Trentino—a region Giulio Ferrari once chose because of its similarity to Champagne. Méthode Classique, extended lees aging, and Chardonnay-dominated blends are not marketing promises here, but rather a craft practiced for over 120 years.
Straw yellow in the glass with greenish reflections, fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, Golden Delicious apple, wildflowers, and yeast—signs of sufficient aging on the cellar. On the palate, clearly structured, medium-bodied, ripe fruit with a hint of fresh bread on the finish. Winner in the Spumante category 2021.
Well chilled at 7–9 °C: as an aperitif, with risotto, light fish or mild mountain cheese from Trentino.
