The Eins Zwei Zero Riesling dry non-alcoholic shows the typical aromas of limes, citrus fruits, but also surprising notes of rhubarb and red apples, as well as a very refreshing mineral component.
For a non-alcoholic wine, it shows a remarkably long finish.
The alcohol is removed from the wine via vacuum evaporation at 27° C. This process is particularly gentle on the aromas, allowing them to largely remain in the wine.

How does the Eins Zwei Zero Riesling taste — can you tell there is no alcohol in it?
Lime, citrus, a hint of rhubarb and red apple, plus a mineral freshness. The finish is unusually long for a non-alcoholic wine — the lack of alcohol is less noticeable than in most alternatives.
How is the alcohol removed, and are aromas lost in the process?
Leitz uses vacuum evaporation at only 27 °C — significantly gentler than conventional distillation. The low temperature preserves a large portion of the Riesling aromas that would otherwise be lost during dealcoholization.
What does the wine pair with at the table?
The lively acidity and citrus notes make it a good companion for Asian dishes — whether Thai curry, Vietnamese summer rolls, or slightly spicy wok cuisine. The minerality also stands up well to spicy sauces.
At what temperature should I serve it?
Ideally between 8 and 10 °C — well-chilled, but not ice-cold. This allows the citrus and minerality to come through most clearly without the aromas feeling frozen.
How long does the bottle last after opening?
Alcohol acts as a preservative — which is missing here. Once opened, you should drink the wine within 1–2 days and keep the bottle sealed in the refrigerator.
Is the wine really completely alcohol-free?
It contains less than 0.5% ABV — this is the EU limit for the designation "alcohol-free." Natural traces may remain due to the fermentation process, but the amount is comparable to that found in fruit juice.
