Leitz Eins Zwei Dry Pinot Noir Rosé dry

An uncomplicated rosé from the Rheingau region that delivers exactly what its name promises: dry, fresh, and easy to drink.

Leitz is one of the most renowned wineries in the Rheingau – especially known for its Riesling from the Rüdesheimer Berg vineyard. The "Eins Zwei Dry" is the estate's approachable line: a single-varietal Pinot Noir, clearly focused on fruit and drinkability.

In the glass, it shines a bright salmon pink. The nose reveals raspberry, red currant, and wild strawberry – along with a hint of rosehip and a delicate touch of white chocolate. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with clean acidity and a smooth finish without any residual sweetness.

  • Food: Grilled salmon, goat cheese salad, light pasta with tomatoes, or as an aperitif in summer
  • Temperature: 10–12 °C
  • Occasion: Terrace, spontaneous evening, uncomplicated everyday wine

Leitz

In the Rheingau, people say with reverence that Johannes Leitz must have enchanted his vines. They bear only that small number of perfectly healthy, fully ripe grapes that allow for such magnificent quality. The wine press agrees: Leitz's Rieslings are among the best in Germany. Magic Mountain from the legendary Schlossberg vineyard proves it – with vibrant acidity, playful grace, monumental power, and depth. A brilliant steep-slope Riesling at a moderate price.
