Domaine de Montrose Chardonnay
An uncomplicated Chardonnay from the Languedoc — fresh, direct and without any detours to enjoyment.
Domaine de Montrose is located in the heart of the Languedoc, near Béziers. The region is one of France's largest wine-growing areas and has shed its mass-production image in recent decades. Montrose focuses on single-varietal blends that reflect the Mediterranean character of the garrigue landscape.
In the glass, the Chardonnay displays a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers citrus aromas—primarily lemon and grapefruit—along with white peach and a subtle floral note. On the palate, it is fresh and light-bodied, with lively acidity and a clean, short finish. No oak notes, no buttery character—a clear, straightforward style.
