Domaine de Montrose is located in the heart of the Languedoc, near Béziers. The region is one of the largest wine-growing areas in France and has freed itself from the mass-production image in recent decades. Montrose relies on single-varietal cuvées that reflect the Mediterranean character of the garrigue landscape.
In the glass, the Chardonnay shows a pale yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, citrus — especially lemon and grapefruit — as well as white peach and a light floral tone. On the palate, fresh and light-footed, with lively acidity and a clean, short finish. No wood notes, no butter character — a clear, straightforward style.

Since 1701, the family crest of the three lizards has adorned all Montrose bottles, symbolizing family ownership and heritage.
