Dalmau Reserve

Dalmau Reserve
Dalmau Reserva is the single-vineyard wine of Marqués de Murrieta — concentrated, structured, with the aging potential of a classic Rioja Reserva at the highest level.
Origin & Craftsmanship: The grapes come exclusively from the Canajas vineyard, a 9-hectare plot at an altitude of 465 meters, planted in 1950. The iron-rich clay soil with its stony surface forces the vines to root deeply. After the grapes turn red, the winery reduces the yield to a maximum of 1 kg per vine—small, concentrated berries are the goal. The blend combines Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Graciano.
In the glass: Dark ruby red, barely any rim lightening. On the nose, black cherry, blackberry, and plum, underpinned by cedar, dark chocolate, and a hint of graphite. On the palate, full-bodied, with dense, well-integrated tannins and a fresh acidity that prevents the wine from feeling heavy despite its weight. Long, spicy finish with tobacco and licorice.
Serving suggestion: Decant now (at least 1 hour) or store until 2035+. Serving temperature 17–18 °C. Pairs well with herb-crusted leg of lamb, Ibérico pork, or aged Manchego cheese.

In the glass, they delight with complex fruit , delicate vanilla notes, and a velvety texture. Typical Rioja: ripe, balanced, and full of depth that unfolds slowly. Here you'll find wines that make every moment special.
