Cusumano Syrah Terre Siciliane

When Francesco Cusumano founded the winery around 40 years ago, he did so with the conviction that top-quality wines could be produced in Sicily. His goal was to implement the concept of Crus in Sicily. Cusumano considered the diversity of the soils and selected them to suit the different grape varieties. This resulted in vineyards near Partinico, Monreale, Piana degli Albanesi, Alcamo, Salemi, Butera, and Pachino. When his sons Alberto and Diego joined him, the winery also acquired modern technology such as temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, French oak barriques, and climate-controlled cellars. Today, Cusumano wines are among the best in Sicily! Their distinctive character and great richness, combined with wonderful aromas, make them a true taste experience. The Cusumano Syrah Terre Siciliane, in particular, displays many ripe fruit aromas with notes of blackberries and mint. Cusumano

Cusumano – a Sicilian winery, founded in 1972 by Enrique Cusumano, now run by his sons Diego and Alberto. 502 hectares of vineyards, a family business with a clear philosophy: exclusively estate-grown grapes, including old, traditional varieties. The soils? Limestone, clay, sandstone – and, thanks to the proximity of Mount Etna, also lava and ash. Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Inzolia, Merlot, Nerello – these grapes produce red and white wines with character. Three million bottles are produced annually, with Germany and the USA being popular export markets. Sicily, as it tastes.
