Cusumano Nero d'Avola Terre Siciliane

The wines from Cusumano are among the best that Sicily has to offer. They have a lot of personality and bear their own signature. They possess an incredible abundance of attractive, captivating fruit aromas and the mellowness of the south. Their latest achievement is vineyards around Mount Etna. Here, full-bodied, mineral volcanic wines are to be created.

The Cusumano Nero d'Avola shows an intense fruitiness typical of the grape variety. Decidedly meaty on the palate, with brilliant, strong dark red color nuances.

Definitely try it.

A very delicious wine for Italian cuisine. It should be emphasized that it has a glass closure instead of a cork. This is very practical and reusable.

The Winery

Cusumano

Cusumano – a Sicilian winery, founded in 1972 by Enrique Cusumano, today in the hands of his sons Diego and Alberto. 502 hectares of vineyard area, a family business with a clear philosophy: exclusively their own grapes, even old, traditional grape varieties are cultivated.

The soils? Limestone, clay, sandstone – and due to the proximity to Mount Etna, also lava and ash. Nero d’Avola, Syrah, Inzolia, Merlot, Nerello – from these, red and white wines with character are created.

Three million bottles annually, popular export countries: Germany and the USA. Sicily as it tastes.
