Carlos Serres Blanco

Carlos Serres Blanco comes from Rioja — a region primarily known for its red wines, but which is increasingly producing exciting white wines. Fresh, clearly structured, and uncomplicated in the best sense.

Bodegas Carlos Serres is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja Alta: founded in 1896 by the French winemaker Charles Serres, the estate boasts over 125 years of experience. The winery in Haro—the historic heart of Rioja Alta—combines traditional craftsmanship with modern winemaking techniques.

In the glass, it displays a bright straw yellow color. The nose offers fresh citrus notes, green apple, and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, it is lively and direct, with crisp acidity and a clean, short finish—a wine that doesn't make a fuss but delivers exactly what it promises.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs well with tapas, grilled fish, seafood, or light pasta dishes. Drink now—not a wine for aging, but a reliable everyday companion.

BODEGAS CARLOS SERRES, SL

Bodegas Carlos Serres was founded in 1896 by Carlos Serres in Haro – in the heart of the Rioja Alta, where clayey-limestone soils, continental climate and proximity to the Ebro river form the basis for age-worthy Rioja wines.

Haro is considered the unofficial wine capital of Rioja, and Serres is one of the wineries that have helped shape this reputation. Their range extends from fresh Jóvenes made from Tempranillo and Viura to Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva – complemented by an organic line and the single-vineyard wine Finca El Estanque.
