Carlos Serres Rosado

A rosé from Rioja that combines the classic strength of the region with fresh lightness – uncomplicated in the best sense.

Bodegas Carlos Serres is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja: founded in 1896 by a French immigrant, the estate is located in Haro, the historical heart of Rioja Alta. Here, the region's typical grape varieties – Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Viura – grow on calcareous-clay soils with Atlantic influence.

In the glass, it displays a clear salmon pink color. The nose offers aromas of strawberry, red peach, and a hint of citrus zest. On the palate, it is lively, with fresh acidity and a clean, short finish.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Best enjoyed now, do not store. Pairs well with grilled vegetables, paella, light pasta dishes with tomato sauce, or as a simple summer aperitif.

BODEGAS CARLOS SERRES, SL

Bodegas Carlos Serres was founded in 1896 by Carlos Serres in Haro – in the heart of the Rioja Alta, where clayey-limestone soils, continental climate and proximity to the Ebro river form the basis for age-worthy Rioja wines.

Haro is considered the unofficial wine capital of Rioja, and Serres is one of the wineries that have helped shape this reputation. Their range extends from fresh Jóvenes made from Tempranillo and Viura to Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva – complemented by an organic line and the single-vineyard wine Finca El Estanque.
