Brauneberger Riesling Qualitätswein trocken "J"

A Riesling that shows what Brauneberg can do: clearly structured, dry and with a depth that one does not necessarily expect from an entry-level wine.

Fritz Haag is one of the most reliable addresses on the Middle Mosel. The winery, in family hands for generations, manages steep slopes around Brauneberg – including the famous Juffer-Sonnenuhr. The Brauneberger Riesling “J” is the accessible entry into the Haag range, with the same demands for precision and expression of origin.

In the nose, it shows cool fruit: yellow plum, a hint of blossoms and slightly earthy minerality. In the mouth, a firm body with grip – not light summer wine ease, but substance. The acidity is invigorating, not shrill. Dark stone and pome fruit aromas, herbs and a pepper tone accompany the finish, which fades out dry and direct.
