Bolla Bardolino DOC Classico

Bolla Bardolino DOC Classico
A light red wine for an uncomplicated evening: the Bardolino Classico from Bolla comes in the glass with little weight, but a clear character.
Bardolino lies east of Lake Garda in the Veneto region—one of Northern Italy's classic areas for light-bodied red wines made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes. Bolla is among the region's most renowned names, synonymous with well-crafted, approachable wines from this DOC classification. The Classico designation refers to the historical heart of the wine-growing area around Bardolino and Lazise.
In the glass, it displays aromas of sour cherry and ripe plum, with a hint of black pepper in the background. The short contact with the pomace keeps the color light and the tannins soft—typical of the Bardolino style. Fresh acidity, light body, short finish.
Serving suggestion: Slightly chilled at 14–16 °C. Pairs well with Margherita pizza, grilled vegetables, antipasti, or light pasta with tomato sauce. Also an uncomplicated companion for a summer evening on the patio—no fuss required.
