Biserno Insoglio del Cinghiale Toscana IGT double magnum

Purple-red, dense, and inviting: The Insoglio del Cinghiale from Tenuta di Biserno is the more accessible entry into the Biserno universe – and yet anything but tame.

Tenuta di Biserno is located in the Maremma, near Bibbona on the Tuscan coast. The winery was founded by brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori – two names that stand for artisanal precision and a deep understanding of terroir. The Insoglio is a cuvée of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot, aged in barriques.

The nose reveals violets and fresh tobacco, beneath which are ripe cherry and cassis. On the palate, the wine feels meaty and full, with round, ripe tannins that leave no edges. The acidity remains present and gives the wine tension; the finish is long and spicy.

The double magnum (3 liters) ages more slowly than the standard bottle – ideal if you want to store the wine for a few more years. Serving temperature: 17–18 °C.

Tenuta di Biserno

Tenuta di Biserno – Tuscan Maremma with a view of the sea. Located in Bibbona, the view extends as far as Corsica. Founded in 2001 by Lodovico and Piero Antinori. Ideal climate, cool breezes from the coast, soils of clay and limestone – perfect conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. 70 hectares of vineyards, plus small quantities of olive oil and grappa. Here, Tuscan tradition meets visionary spirit. Maremma, as it tastes.
