Biserno Insoglio del Cinghiale Toscana IGT double magnum

Deep purple, dense and inviting: The Insoglio del Cinghiale from Tenuta di Biserno is the more accessible entry into the Biserno universe – and yet anything but tame.

Tenuta di Biserno is located in the Maremma region, near Bibbona on the Tuscan coast. The winery was founded by the brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori – two names synonymous with meticulous craftsmanship and a profound understanding of terroir. The Insoglio is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot, aged in barriques.

The nose reveals aromas of violets and fresh tobacco, with hints of ripe cherry and blackcurrant underneath. On the palate, the wine is fleshy and full-bodied, with rounded, ripe tannins that blend seamlessly. The acidity remains present, adding vibrancy to the wine, and the finish is long and spicy.

The double magnum (3 liters) matures more slowly than the standard bottle – ideal if you plan to cellar the wine for several years. Drinking window: now until 2032. Serving temperature: 17–18 °C.

Tenuta di Biserno

Tenuta di Biserno – Tuscan Maremma with a sea view. Located in Bibbona, the view extends all the way to Corsica. Founded in 2002 by Lodovico and Piero Antinori. Ideal climate, cool breezes from the coast, soils of clay and limestone – perfect conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. 50 hectares of vineyards, under the direction of oenologist Helena Lindberg, produce 160,000 bottles of wine annually. Small quantities of olive oil and grappa are also produced. Here, Tuscan tradition meets a visionary spirit. Maremma at its best.
