Angimbé Terre Siciliane

Cusumano's wines are among the best Sicily has to offer. They possess a strong personality and a distinctive style. They boast an incredible abundance of attractive, captivating fruit aromas and the richness of the south. Their latest acquisition is vineyards around Mount Etna, where they aim to produce full-bodied, mineral-driven volcanic wines. Cusumano's angimbé is a white wine blend of the indigenous Inzolia grape and Chardonnay. Its color is brilliantly vibrant with golden highlights. On the nose, it exudes a unique and seductive floral fragrance, complemented by mild fruit aromas of melon and acacia honey, along with a hint of vanilla. Robert Parker: 89 points (2018 vintage)

Cusumano

Cusumano – a Sicilian winery, founded in 1972 by Enrique Cusumano, today in the hands of his sons Diego and Alberto. 502 hectares of vineyard area, a family business with a clear philosophy: exclusively their own grapes, even old, traditional grape varieties are cultivated.

The soils? Limestone, clay, sandstone – and due to the proximity to Mount Etna, also lava and ash. Nero d’Avola, Syrah, Inzolia, Merlot, Nerello – from these, red and white wines with character are created.

Three million bottles annually, popular export countries: Germany and the USA. Sicily as it tastes.
