Galiardi –
Craftsmanship and organic viticulture in Montefeltro
Galiardi cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards in Montefeltro, one of the quieter corners of the Marche, where gentle hills and clay soils set the rhythm. The grapes – indigenous varieties alongside international ones – are harvested by hand, and the wines are crafted in the cellar. The result is elegant DOC and IGT wines that clearly show their origin: without loudness, but with palpable character.
Organic cultivation at Galiardi is not a reaction to a trend, but a lived conviction that has been anchored in the family for generations. No use of synthetic agents, but rather a genuine engagement with the soil – and that on every one of the 13 hectares. What this means for the wine: more expression of the terroir, less intervention in the cellar.
