Fazi Battaglia
Fazi Battaglia –
a family winery from the Marche region since 1949
Fazi Battaglia is one of the most renowned wineries in the Marche region : founded in 1949 by the grandfather of the current owner, Maria Luisa Gianotti, the estate now cultivates 280 hectares of vineyards, spread across twelve sites along the central Italian Adriatic coast. The clay and limestone soils, combined with the region's temperate climate, form the basis for wines with pronounced fruit and good structure.
In the cellar, Fazi Battaglia relies on aging in Slavonian and French oak barrels – an approach that gives the wines depth without masking their regional character. The range extends from the fresh, mineral-driven Verdicchio to the full-bodied Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Sangiovese-based red wines. Around three million bottles leave the winery annually – a volume that demands both craftsmanship and consistency.
Anyone wanting to get to know the wines of the Marche region will find a reliable starting point at Fazi Battaglia: honestly made, with roots in family history and a clear connection to origin.
