Carticetum

Carticetum from Galiardi is a new addition to the Vinoscout range. As there are no detailed specifications regarding the vineyard site, grape variety, or maturation available yet, we recommend serving it at 16–18 °C with hearty meat dishes or savory cheese.

Carticetum

Carticetum from Galiardi is a new addition to the Vinoscout range and brings Italian character to the glass. The name is reminiscent of a traditional vineyard designation, as is frequently used for vineyard sites in Central Italy – a sign of the winery's close connection to its terroir.

Galiardi focuses on grape varieties that have been cultivated in the region for generations and vinifies them in such a way that fruit and structure remain in balance. In the glass, the Carticetum appears garnet red with violet reflections, with notes of cherry, a hint of liquorice, and a touch of undergrowth on the nose.

On the palate, it is juicy, the tannins are present but smoothly integrated, and the finish has a slightly spicy resonance. An uncomplicated, easy-drinking red wine that is well-suited for dining together.

Serve it at 16–18 °C, ideally with grilled red meat, pasta with tomato sauce, or aged Pecorino. A wine for a convivial evening with friends.
