How does the Luttichau Bianchello Superiore taste?

Dry, lively, and characterized by a salty minerality. On the nose, hawthorn, bergamot, and a hint of white pepper — on the palate, fresh with a long, sapid finish. Aged in steel tanks, which keeps the fruit and freshness clear.

What does this wine pair best with?

Classically with fish and seafood — sea bream, clams, ceviche. However, it also works well with a creamy risotto or light poultry. It also makes a great aperitif.

At what temperature should I serve it?

Ideally between 6 and 10 °C. Cooler than a classic white wine — this brings out the freshness and minerality most clearly. Taking it out of the fridge shortly before serving is sufficient.

What is Bianchello — don't I know this grape variety?

Bianchello del Metauro is an autochthonous grape variety from the Marche region on the Adriatic coast, barely known outside the region. It naturally brings high freshness and that typical salty note — it is no coincidence that it is traditionally drunk with Adriatic fish.

How long can I store the wine?

The 2024 vintage is designed for freshness and should be drunk within the next two to three years. Stored in a cool, dark place, it will keep well — long-term cellaring is not the goal here.

Is the wine organic certified?

Yes, the Galiardi vineyards are managed organically. You can find information about the exact certification mark on the bottle label.
