White Burgundy

White Burgundy
A Pinot Blanc that shows what the Palatinate can do on dry limestone soil: clearly structured, with real drive and a long, spicy finish.
Rebholz, an agricultural advisor from Siebeldingen, is one of the pioneers of German quality winemaking. For generations, the family has consistently cultivated their vineyards at Bienengarten and Kastanienbusch according to biodynamic principles – soils of limestone and variegated sandstone, which give the Pinot Blanc its characteristic minerality.
On the nose, banana peel, ripe stone fruit, and fresh herbs, with a hint of almond pastry. On the palate, it is delicately juicy and lively, with a firm structure and coarse, sandy minerality. The acidity is precise without being sharp. The finish offers a pleasant bitterness, a woody and spicy aftertaste, herbs, and salt – long and straightforward.
